About the Journal
Aims and Scope
Journal of Vietnamese Environment (ISSN: 2193-6471) is an open-access journal covering environmental sciences in Vietnam. The journal publishes its content in different formats, such as research articles, reviews, policy papers, event reports and short communications. The journal aims to disseminate the outcomes from different research fields in environmental management and protection in Vietnam. A primary intent of the journal is to provide a platform for Vietnamese researchers to inform the international community about the progress of environmental research in Vietnam. The journal encourages early-career researchers to publish their work and get the professional recognition.

Open Access policy
Journal of Vietnamese Environment is an open access journal that aims at making knowledge freely available to everyone via internet. The readers of the journal are allowed unrestricted access to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of journal’s articles or use them for any lawful purpose without financial, technical or legal barriers (other than those related to having access to internet).
All content of Journal of Vietnamese Environment is published under Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial 3.0 Unported License (CC BY-NC 3.0). Under this license, the readers of the journal are free to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) under the following terms: appropriate credit must be given to the content’ author and the material cannot be used for commercial purposes. The authors who wish to publish with our journal retain the copyright of their work without restrictions and agree with their manuscripts being published under these conditions.
The Journal of Vietnamese Environment does not charge any fees, neither from authors nor from its readers. The manuscript submission, processing and publication is free of charge, all technical and editorial costs being supported by the publisher. Submission is possible at anytime by accessing the Make a submission button.
The following manuscript types are exposed to a single blind peer review process (which means that authors’ identity is known to reviewers but not vice-versa): research articles, review papers and policy papers. For the other formats (short communications, editorials and event reports), an editorial review is applied.
